Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Q: I notice that sometimes there is separation of the lotions or creams. Is this OK?
A: Yes, you will possibly see separation of certain lotions and creams since we are careful to not overuse waxy emulsifiers. A simple light shake every time you use your lotions will re-emulsify the ingredients as well as 'wake up' the formula. A stir with a toothpick will blend the creams together. It is not a problem if there is separation.

Q: I noticed this summer my cream got very watery. Is it all right?
A: Yes, it is still perfectly usable. You might like to store it in the refrigerator where it will most likely thicken up a bit. Most of the Walk in Beauty creams and lotions are a different consistency than the store bought types you may be accustomed to. See, after about 10 minutes, how your skin feels. Like it just got drenched in a dewy elixir of nectar! Keeping products cool or refrigerated will prolong their life as they contain many live ingredients. Think of them as Skin Food. You like to keep the food you eat fresh, don't you?

Q: What is the best thing to do if I see something that looks like mold on my product?
A: Throw it away and do NOT use it any more! Please inform us here right away and we will issue you a replacement or refund. In rare instances, especially after a year or so, the natural preservatives we use may not hold a product and a growth may occur. We do recommend that the creams and lotions be refrigerated in warm weather to keep them fresh.
After a year we can not guarantee our products.
